At Sensidel, our products are designed with sensitive and delicate skin in mind. Every ingredient in this formula has been chosen to nurture, protect, and strengthen your skin barrier, while keeping comfort front and centre.

That said, even the most gentle ingredients can sometimes cause a reaction in very sensitive skin. This is different for everyone, and it doesn’t mean the ingredient is “bad” — it’s simply about how your skin responds. Here’s what you should know:

• Botanical extracts – Aloe vera, calendula, and vanilla extract bring soothing, antioxidant, and softening benefits. They’re well tolerated by most people, but a small number of very reactive skin types may notice temporary redness or tingling.

• Vitamin E (Tocopherol) – A powerful antioxidant that helps protect your skin’s natural oils from damage. True sensitivity to vitamin E is uncommon, but it can happen.

• Vanilla extract – We use it primarily for a gentle, comforting scent and antioxidant content. For those who find any fragrance-like ingredients irritating, our formula keeps it at a very low level to balance enjoyment with gentleness.

Our recommendations:

• If your skin is highly reactive, consider patch testing a small amount behind the ear or on the inner forearm before first use.

• Start with a small application once a day and slowly increase if your skin feels comfortable.

• Remember that redness or mild tingling that settles quickly is often temporary, but if you notice ongoing discomfort, discontinue and check in with your dermatologist.
