U.S. Tariff Information
U.S. TARIFF NOTICE FOR SENSIDEL CUSTOMERS
Due to recent changes in U.S. Customs regulations, certain imported items — including select skincare products — may be subject to customs tariffs or duties when shipped from our Canadian-based small business to addresses in the United States.
At Sensidel, we believe in full transparency. These charges are not collected by us at checkout — they are imposed by U.S. Customs and, if applied, are the responsibility of the recipient.
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU:

Not all orders are affected, but certain product types (especially those classified under skincare preparations) may be flagged.

If your order is affected, you may receive a notification from your carrier (e.g., USPS, DHL, etc.) asking you to pay the fee before your package is delivered.

We do not benefit from these fees, nor do we have control over whether or not they're applied.
OUR PROCESS (PLEASE READ):
To ensure you’re informed and comfortable, we email every U.S. customer whose order contains a flagged item. Here’s what that email looks like:

Hi there,
Thank you so much for your order and for supporting Sensidel! We wanted to make you aware that certain skincare products may be subject to a small U.S. customs tariff at delivery.
This doesn’t happen with every order, but when it does, your shipping carrier may reach out with a payment request before releasing your package. This fee is issued by U.S. Customs and is unfortunately out of our hands.
We want to give you a chance to decide how you'd like to move forward. You can:

Remove the item(s) at risk of tariff and ship the rest of your order

Proceed with your full order and risk the potential customs fee at delivery

Cancel your order if you're not comfortable with the potential fee
Please reply to this email with your preference. If we don’t hear back, we’ll hold your order until you confirm.
