Your skin barrier is your frontline. When it’s stressed—by weather, over-cleansing, actives, or simply a busy life—skin can feel tight, reactive, flaky, or somehow both dry and oily. Lipid Luxe is our inaugural moisturizer, created to bring your routine back to baseline: calm, cushioned, and comfortably hydrated.

What makes it different: evidence-level ceramides

A lot of “ceramide creams” include ceramides in trace amounts—often around 0.25%—which may be too low to meaningfully support barrier comfort for many people. Lipid Luxe is built differently: a concentrated 2.5% ceramide trio (NP, AP, EOP)—a level aligned with what’s been shown in the literature and in formulation data to meaningfully improve the look and feel of a compromised barrier over time.

This is what we mean by putting care back in skincare: not marketing buzzwords—ingredient decisions that reflect the evidence, the biology of skin, and the reality of sensitive skin.

Barrier-first, skin-identical design

Healthy skin relies on a “mortar” between skin cells made largely of ceramides, cholesterol, and fatty acids. Lipid Luxe pairs its high-strength ceramide trio with cholesterol + fatty acids to mirror the skin’s natural lipid composition and support a smoother, more resilient-looking barrier.

The formulation philosophy: support + soothe

Lipid Luxe is built around two goals:

  1. Replenish what skin is missing (lipids + hydration)
  2. Keep comfort front and centre (soothing, antioxidant support)

The key pillars (what each part is doing)

  • Barrier lipids (the foundation): 2.5% ceramide trio (NP/AP/EOP) + cholesterol + fatty acids to support barrier comfort and reduce the look of dryness.
  • Deep hydration: Glycerin and aloe help bind water to the skin for a plumper, more comfortable feel.
  • Soft, non-greasy emollients: Squalane and shea butter cushion and smooth without a heavy finish.
  • Comfort boosters: Panthenol and allantoin help soothe the feeling of irritation and dryness.
  • Antioxidant support: Green tea, calendula, vitamin E, and vanilla fruit extract help support skin against daily environmental stressors.

Texture + finish

Velvety-rich, but not sticky or greasy. It melts in, layers beautifully, and leaves skin feeling supple, protected, and calm—the kind of moisturizer you can wear under sunscreen and makeup or lean on at night when skin feels depleted.

“Scented?”

We do not add synthetic fragrance. Any soft vanilla-like note comes from vanilla fruit extract. Because even gentle botanicals can be reactive for some, we recommend patch testing if you’re highly sensitive.

How to use

Apply 1–2 pumps to face and neck morning and/or night. For daytime, follow with broad-spectrum sunscreen. If you use actives, apply Lipid Luxe after serums to cushion and support comfort.

All Sensidel products are formulated with sensitive skin in mind and are made without added fragrance, drying alcohols, or essential oils.
